Everyone needs a nap

We finally got the birthing pens done for the goats!  Now we just play the waiting game!  By the looks of it we may have a few more babies yet tonight!  Looks like Sparkles might be in labor!  It would have been nice to get them done before Cream Puff had hers, but at least they are finished for the last 3!

Our MAPLE SYRUP inspector came today!!  We are good to go for another year of business!  We have done 47 gallons of syrup so far this year!  By the looks of the weather we are going to be busy out in the sugar shack!  Hopefully I will find a few free minutes to take some new pictures this year!

I have been asked to start blogging...... so, here goes nothing!   Today has been very busy around here with a lot of the normal Saturday things!  We made laundry soap, bread, and cheese (out of our goats milk)!  The older girls feed calves and milk tonight while my hubby and son are working on making the new goat pens!  We have 3 more goats due to freshen within the next few weeks!
